How it works
The engine calculates the ecliptic longitudes of ten planets from 1900 to 2100 daily and stores them in a local database. Search is performed on precomputed series, so the response is instant. For each period, the start and end dates, the exact date of the minimal orb, and the orb magnitude are shown. Fixed star positions are referred to epoch J2000 and shifted with precession. The search for figures is unique: you select three or four planets, and the system looks for days when their configuration forms a grand trine, T-square, yod, stellium, talent triangle, grand cross, kite, mystic rectangle, cradle, or six-pointed star of six planets.
