CHARACTER OF THE COUNTRY
- This is a country whose pride and striving for recognition constantly clash with harsh reality, generating an explosive mixture of grievances and sudden outbursts of strength. This is screamed by the very core of its personality — the Sun in Leo in the 9th house in conjunction with Uranus. Leo craves fame, recognition, respect on the world's art stage (9th house — foreign matters, philosophy, religion). But Uranus introduces an element of surprise, rebellion, sharp ruptures. The history of the CAR is a series of regimes that tried to loudly declare themselves (the Bokassa empire is the brightest, almost caricatured example of the lion's theater of power), but constantly spiraled into chaos, coups, and sudden changes of course. This is a people who deeply feel their right to greatness, but realize it unpredictably and often destructively.
