CelestialMundane astrology — national charts and country forecasts
Mundane astrology (from Latin mundus — 'world') is the oldest branch of astrology, studying the destinies of peoples, states, and world events. Just as every person has a natal chart, every nation has a birth moment — the day of independence, the adoption of a constitution, or another key historical event.
DestinyKey offers free natal chart calculations for all 196 countries using precise astronomical data from Swiss Ephemeris. For key countries multiple 'birth chart' variants are available — for example the United States has charts for the Declaration of Independence, the ratification of the Constitution, and more.
A country's chart analysis covers: national character, world role, economic model, internal conflicts, governance style, and destiny. Astropsychological analysis builds a detailed portrait of the country based on planetary positions, houses, and aspects.
Which countries can be analysed?
The DestinyKey database covers all 196 countries: from major powers (USA, Russia, China, India, UK, France, Germany, Japan) to smaller states (Andorra, Monaco, Vatican, San Marino). All regions are represented: Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, Oceania, and the Middle East.
What does a mundane chart show?
The Sun in a country's chart defines its national character and identity. The Moon reflects the mood of the people, the emotional climate, and inner needs. The Ascendant shows how the country appears to the world. The MC (Midheaven) points to the style of governance and international standing.
