How we build the chart
Calculations use the Swiss Ephemeris — a professional astronomical standard, the same used in academic astrology. Planetary positions are computed to angular-second precision. Houses are calculated by Placidus (default). The Ascendant (ASC) — first cusp, the key point in aesthetic astrology — is determined automatically from time and place of birth.
Ethical framework
In beauty readings, DestinyKey strictly follows professional ethics:
- We do not rate people as "beautiful or not". The chart shows resonance, not a verdict.
- We do not push seasonal trends. We work with your own signature — what makes you stand out as a person, not "look like everyone else".
- We do not use the reading to pressure your body: no strict diets, no "aesthetic gymnastics", no encouragement of surgery. Only what amplifies what you already have.
- We respect shadow themes (Venus in tense aspects, Venus retrograde, Lilith) — describing them as part of aesthetic maturity, not as a "flaw".
- We always remember: a horoscope is a probability. Your decisions and awareness are stronger than any transit.

What is beauty astropsychology?
It's a branch of astropsychology that uses the natal chart as a guide for style and image: which aesthetic resonates with you, which palette and silhouette match your signature, what amplifies your first impression, what mutes it. It is not a verdict of "beautiful or not" — the chart shows resonance, not a sentence.
Why do I need an exact birth time?
Silhouette and first impression in our system are built from the Ascendant — the rising point. The Ascendant shifts by one degree every ~4 minutes, so even 15 minutes of error noticeably changes the style read. Venus and Moon by sign stay stable even without exact time, so a minimal profile works without it — but the most precise silhouette recommendations need a birth time from a hospital record or a similar source.
Is this reading for women, men, or anyone?
Anyone. Venus, Ascendant, and Moon work the same way in any chart, regardless of gender. We use the language of "aesthetic" and "image", not "how to dress femininely". The "gender" field in the form is only used to choose grammatical forms in recommendations, and can be left blank.
I don't believe in astrology — does it still make sense to look?
You can read it as a typology: the Venus sign carries roughly the same information as a color/style archetype in style books — which tones, textures, and lines land in your specific body. Belief in astrology is not required: even as a metaphor, the reading raises useful questions about your style.
What if my Venus is retrograde or afflicted?
A retrograde Venus and Venus in tense aspects do not "spoil" appearance — it is a specific register where your beauty works for an inner contour rather than for a wide audience.
