An original method of correcting living space by the natal chart. Your home tuned to your chart — not to the “type” you were assigned by year of birth.
Enter your birth data — the sector map is calculated free of charge. If you have already built a natal chart on the site, the data will be filled in automatically.
If you have a plan of your home, the sectors are drawn right on it and the room markup goes into the reading. The file stays in your browser; it is sent to the server only for automatic recognition.
Add family members — each gets their own chart, and the shared zones get the family composite. The calculation rules are below and can be switched.
Every rule can be switched: the sector map recalculates at once, and the family reading is written by the rules you chose.
Sleep is restoration. The head of the bed goes toward the sector of the strongest “restoring” planet — Moon, Venus or Jupiter (if not weak): they govern rest, calm and replenishment. Feet — not toward the weakest planet's sector, so sleep does not “leak” into the most vulnerable theme. In practice: not toward a door or a window — if the sector coincides, take the next one on the list.
A child grows and the leading planet changes: under 7 calm and protection matter most (Moon, Venus), 7–14 — learning and curiosity (Mercury for the desk, Jupiter for the room), 14+ — independence and will (Sun, Mars). “By age” picks this itself; set it by hand if the child now needs calm more, or the other way round, study. The weak Saturn sector is never used for a child's room.
The bedroom is the quietest room in the home, so sectors one of the two needs to “harmonise” suit it: that is exactly where soft materials and calm belong. We exclude only sectors that one partner activates through Mars or the Sun — fire and activity are not for sleep. Priority goes to the couple's composite: the sector of the composite Venus or Moon comes first, then by the combined strength of both.
If one person needs to activate a sector and another to harmonise it, the family composite decides: it shows what this sector is for the family as a whole. If the composite is neutral, the stronger claim wins (whose ruling planet of the sector is stronger), and the other person gets compensation in their personal zone.
When there are not enough sectors for everyone, the child gets a place first, then the partner with the weaker chart (they need support more), then the rest. A strong chart copes even in a neutral sector.
In DestinySpace an animal is an object of correction, not a chart subject: it has no natal chart of its own, but it is a living carrier of a planetary element. Dog — Mars and Sun (activity, guarding), cat — Moon and Venus (calm), aquarium — Moon and Neptune (Water), birds — Mercury and Venus, rodents — Mercury and Moon, reptiles — Saturn and Pluto. The bed, cage or tank goes into the sector whose ruler matches the animal's planets and whose status matches its action (activate or harmonise). A dog or an aquarium — never in the couple's bedroom; nothing — in a sector the child avoids or in a disputed sector.
Build your chart below and get a table of eight sectors: the sector's ruler, its status (activate / harmonise), what to do, what to place.
A reading for the spheres you choose (finance, relationships, health, career, home, children): which sectors and objects work for that exact task.
A complete arrangement for your layout: every room, every sector, what to move, what to add, what to remove, in what order.
Classical Eight Mansions feng shui reduces a person to a Kua number — one of eight numbers derived from year of birth and gender. Everyone born in the same year gets the same “favourable directions”: millions of people, one scheme. Vastu goes further: its house layout does not depend on the resident at all, only on compass points and floor plan.
Both systems were born long before precise ephemerides and accessible birth charts, and worked with what could be known about a person without calculation. DestinySpace starts from the other end: from your whole birth chart — ten planets, houses, aspects, angles, active degrees. Not eight types, but one chart for one person, and the sectors of the home are built around it.
That is why two people born in the same year can get opposite recommendations from DestinySpace: for one — a desk to the east and an active zone by the window; for the other — keep that same east quiet and “feed” it with calm materials. Kua-number feng shui cannot produce that difference by construction.
We calculate the natal chart from date, time and place of birth. For each planet we determine its strength: dignity by sign, aspects, position relative to the chart angles, active degrees from the DestinyKey study. The result is a list of strong planets (a resource to be let out) and weak ones (what needs support).
Each planet has its own direction on the floor plan — eight sectors from north to north-west. So the birth chart lands on the real plan: the Sun's sector, the Moon's sector, the Mars sector. The compass is the same for everyone; who “rules” a sector and what to do with it is decided by your chart alone.
Sectors of strong planets are activated: main activity goes here (workplace, bedroom, meeting zone — depending on the planet), activator objects, light, colour and materials of its element. Sectors of weak planets are harmonised: the feeding element by the five-element cycle, calm materials, nothing oppressive and no key activity. Not “place a toad” — concrete things you can move, add or remove.
You mark which room sits in which sector and get a reading of your actual layout: where to sleep, where to work, where to receive people, what to move from sector to sector and what to remove entirely. The report is written to be done by hand in one weekend.
Every chart is different, so the space is tuned to a specific person. If a family lives in the home, the charts of all residents are calculated: shared zones are tuned so as not to “press” on any chart, and personal ones (a child's room, a workplace, a bedroom) — to their owner.
A child's room is a special case: what gets activated is what supports growth and learning, not what is “profitable” by an adult scheme. And all of this changes with the layout: move house — rebuild the sector map, rather than hunting for a flat “to match a number”.
Preferably yes: the chart angles and houses depend on the time, and with them planetary strength. Without a time, the sector map is built from planets in signs and aspects, without houses — an honest but less precise version.
The method works without moving walls: almost everything is decided by what stands in a sector, what light and materials fill it, and what activity happens there.
The natal reading describes you. DestinySpace transfers that description onto the floor plan: where exactly in space your strengths should “come out” and your weak points receive support.
