Stars of Ptolemy

Stars whose nature was described by Ptolemy in the Tetrabiblos

In the Tetrabiblos (II.7), Claudius Ptolemy described the nature of about 30 brightest stars, associating each with a planet or combination of planets. This is the first systematic astrological classification of stars, and it remains foundational to this day: Robson, Ebertin, and Brady build upon it, adding their own observations.
