托勒密在《四书》中描述其性质的恒星

在《四书》（II.7）中，克劳狄乌斯·托勒密描述了约30颗最亮恒星的性质，将每颗与一颗行星或行星组合相关联。这是第一个系统的恒星占星分类，至今仍是基础：罗布森、埃伯廷和布雷迪都以此为基础，并补充了自己的观察。
