This gives the city an image of a harsh industrial giant, which completely contradicts its Neptunian soul.
The city's unique mission is to be a bridge between the resource economy and a green future. The Aquarius stellium and Jupiter in Cancer provide a powerful impetus for developing eco-friendly technologies. Saguenay is trying to transform from a "dirty" industrial center into a "smart" city running on renewable energy (hydroelectric plants are the main resource here). It wants to show the world that industry and ecology can coexist. So far, this succeeds with mixed results.
Sister cities: Charleroi (Belgium) — a similarly former industrial giant undergoing an identity crisis.
