A calendar of planetary moves for the year ahead
An ingress is the moment a planet enters a new sign of the zodiac, or — in personal astrology — a new house in the natal chart. Each such date marks a shift in the collective or personal backdrop: the dominant element changes, current themes change, and a different area of life moves into the foreground.
Transits are the continuous backdrop of every day, the aspects between transiting planets and your natal chart. Ingresses are the pivot points within that backdrop — moments when the rhythm changes. Knowing the year's key ingresses lets you plan your life: when to start new projects, when to retreat, when to expect career or relationship turning points.
When Jupiter enters Cancer, or Saturn enters Aries, the collective atmosphere shifts. These dates are the same for everyone and form the year's overall "climate": which themes become urgent in society, which element prevails, what mood underlies the period.
When a transiting planet enters one of your natal houses, a specific area of your life is activated. Jupiter in your 7th house — a year of partnerships. Saturn in your 10th — serious career work. This calendar is built from your own birth chart and shows your personal schedule of activations for the year ahead.
We're preparing an extended version of the calendar: with an interpretation of every key ingress, planning recommendations, and tips on how to use each period to its fullest.
